New call-in option allows remote bidding
Each year at the North American Gamebird Association’s annual convention, a special Convention Auction fundraiser helps support NAGA’s scholarship program and ongoing efforts to protect and promote the game bird industry.
This year is no exception, as members attending the annual convention in sunny Gulfport, Mississippi, January 23-25, 2017 will have the opportunity to bid on a variety of great items including hunts, vacations, flowers for a year, framed game bird prints, event tickets and more.
However, organizers have added a new and exciting twist that lets NAGA members who are unable to attend the convention participate in the auction by bidding from home.
“We’re hoping this will help members who can’t join us in Mississippi enjoy some of the excitement, while raising funds for the organization’s fight to preserve our way of life,” NAGA Executive board member John Metzer.
The auction will take place at the conclusion of the NAGA convention, following the banquet on Wednesday evening, January 25. Check back as the auction approaches for further details including phone numbers and auction items.
