The anticipated moment of unveiling has arrived as the North American Gamebird Association announces the agenda for the Second Hunting Club Conference, which will take place in Manhattan, Kansas, July 17-19, 2023. Like the inaugural event this past year in Ohio, the Kansas conference has been designed exclusively for hunting preserves by the people who own and run them.
The Hunting Club Conference committee compiled suggested topics from hunting preserves and ranked them, with only the top vote-getters making the cut. This year’s conference features a great mix of high-tech information, marketing seminars, sessions on how hunt clubs navigate the challenges of avian influenza, and more.
Second, we’re very grateful for the generosity of the firearms industry as NSSF – The Firearm Industry Trade Association has returned and increased its support as the Title Sponsor of the Conference. NSSF’s digital and social media marketing guru will teach attendees how to get a real return on investment. The association will also showcase its +ONE program, hoping that hunting clubs will join the essential effort to attract the next generation of hunters and shooters.

Many hunt clubs have or aspire to provide a retail presence in their clubhouses. Hall-N-Hall will do a feature presentation on Growing Your Retail Footprint, while an additional marketing presentation will cover how to reach the younger demographic best.
With avian influenza infections still occurring in the poultry world, hunting preserves must be prepared. The NAGA Hunting Club Conference will provide three sessions to help that process. Penn State University’s Dr. Justin Brown will discuss the transmission of the disease. Kansas State Veterinarian Dr. Sara McReynolds will demonstrate why your state vet is crucial to your hunting operation. And last, a panel of three hunting preserves that were impacted by HPAI will share their stories and how they navigated this enormous challenge.
